About Me:: I am currently a student finishing up my Bachelors degree and looking at Seminaries for my masters. I have worked, led, and volunteered in many youth ministry for close to 7 years now. I fell into this through working for Lakeshore UMA a camping ministry in West TN. I love to read new books, watch movies, hunting, fishing, and just riding in my boat on the river. I guess you could call me an explorer of sort. I love to play guitar and try to practice much yet I am still a learning much after 3 years. I have much passion for teaching and new ideas. I listen to various types of music for inspiration and ideas. My hope is that I may continue to keep my eyes upon what God loves and hope that there will be a new heaven and new earth created for all.

For the Moments I Feel Faint...

I'm not a blogger, yet I'm hoping this will get others to think. I'm finding myself. I'm finding something new about me everyday. I write late tonight because I have been going frantic for my finals and the semester. I'll figure out how to send you a regular email and give you more details if you want! I loved getting the coursework in specific disorders and issues, and then I incorporate religion with the clients who feel comfortable with that (in public schools you have to be aware of the guidelines). At church, my counseling degree helps to understand the students with more extreme issues like cutting, abandonment, etc. However, I have to defer to my seminary gurus for in-depth conversations about the texts! I can read them, but I always want to make sure I know the history and meaning!
